Separation Prices
There are color separators who charge up to $25 per color and those who sell seps for less than $50. It is a wide spread. But, keep in mind that separations are only good if they work at press. All separations are personally done by Scott Fresener or one of his highly trained separators – and with thousands of separations done per year and final jobs hanging in all major department stores and used by large and small shops, you get separations at a fair price from an expert color separator. And….. you don’t need Photoshop to use our service. We can provide files that work in Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
Our prices are based on turnaround time and are for jobs with an unlimited number of colors. Please read the Delivery Time notes at the bottom of this page.

$95 per set – Rush 24 hour turnaround

Extras
The above prices are for standard separations. Any extras listed below will be invoiced separately and payment due before separations are sent.
Special Effects Separations -$20.00 per additional plate.
Puff, Glitter, Glow-in-the-Dark, Overprints, etc.
Pre-Halftoned Files – $15.00 per set of separations
Use this service if you don’t have a Software RIP to convert the files to halftones.
Gang Images – $20.00 additional fee.
We can often gang a full-size image and a small crest/chest print on the same set of separations if the colors are similar.
Poor Quality Artwork – by quotation
We try to do the best we can with the artwork provided but if the file is very low quality or low resolution it simply takes longer to fix things and to separate. We reserve the right to ask for additional fees if we feel there will be overly time consuming cleanup needed.
Separation Re-Do
If we do a set of seps and you then discover you have a better piece of artwork or your customer has made changes, you may have to pay for another set of seps if the changes are significant.
** Delivery Time: The above prices are based on a normal work week of Monday through Friday. And, the turnaround time does not start until we receive payment. Separations are done based on Mountain Standard Time in the state of Arizona USA. If you are an international user be aware of the time difference. 72 hour turnaround means the order will be sent back within 72 hours of receipt of the order excluding weekends. 24 hour turnaround means the order will be sent back within 24 hours of receipt of the order excluding weekends. Critical Same Day service means the order will be sent back within 8 hours of receipt as long as the order is received no later than 2:00pm (1400 hours) Mountain Standard Time USA – excluding weekends.
